Our mission

We Empower Our Clients to Leverage Their Vision

Your vision sets the goal. Our job is to protect it: test the numbers before you commit, buy the work right, and hold cost and schedule until it is built.

Ken Blankenfeld, Founder & Managing Partner

Ken Blankenfeld

Founder & Managing Partner

Ken Blankenfeld founded KBCm Group in 2008 and has led the firm as Managing Partner ever since. His career spans more than four decades: he began a carpentry apprenticeship in 1976 while studying construction engineering with an emphasis on construction law, and moved into construction management in 1980 with an architectural and construction management firm.

Ken has managed a broad portfolio that includes government projects for the Navy and the Army Corps of Engineers, nationally accredited retail developments, and commercial, hospitality, multifamily and industrial projects. He has also served three times as a company officer for nationwide general contractors.

That combination of field experience, boardroom leadership and legal training equips Ken to guide owners through complex project challenges. His focus is project advocacy: keeping owners in control of their project’s expectations while achieving superior outcomes.

Michael Glenn, Director of Operations

Michael Glenn

Director of Operations

Michael Glenn brings 24 years of construction experience across refinery, oil and gas, and commercial construction. He chose to build his career from the ground up, starting in the field while still in college, and moved into construction and project management 11 years ago.

Michael’s approach is grounded in the values of a blue-collar upbringing: hard work and a commitment to an industry that builds and drives the country’s economy. He believes successful projects come from assembling the best people in each trade, then motivating and leading them through to completion.
